Back in Black & a giveaway of The China Study!

Why, hello there! I touched down on American soil from my fabulous & fast paced trip to Japan a few hours ago & yet, here I am with a post! I'll have the goods from vegan dining to cute fuzzy animals in Tokyo, Kyoto, & Nara the next few weeks, so stay tuned! In the meantime, here's a taste of a popular Japanese item, PURIKURA! These super fun photo booths are typically found in game centers & areas popular with youth. You take a series of photos & then get to decorate them with everything from bunny ears to cartoon poop! The current trend in purikura is big, bright eyes, hence looking a bit spooked, but you can't stop the machine from printing your eyes this way, so there you have it!
